Espresso:
Kinetic Typography Lyric Video

Inspired by Sabrina Carpenter’s playful aesthetic, 1950s feminine styling, and the printmaking techniques of the era, this 30-second kinetic type animation was created in Adobe After Effects to mirror the pacing, rhythm, and tone of a clip from Espresso. The animation uses motion, timing, and visual rhythm to conceptually express the lyrics and energetic personality of the song.

This project sparked my interest in motion graphics and strengthened my skills in After Effects as I explored how typography can communicate personality, emotion, and rhythm through movement.
